Temperature
Control
Brush seals are a great barrier to heat and cold and

curious about a difference he experienced until he realized the traffic
noise he had grown used to, had ceased. He said he would have bought
the brush seals for noise alone, if he’d known about their remarkable
sound reduction ability. A professional testing company ran analyses of
the sound reducing qualities of our brush seal. They compared a door
with its perimeter fully taped shut (not useable). At some frequencies,

Nylon Brush Door Seal
Our type 6 nylon brush
seals are recommended for food processing and handling facilities.
They are U.L. Rated as "Gasketing Material for Fire Doors" (viable
from -100ºF to +200ºF).
Type 6 nylon brush seal is known for
its extremely long life, toughness and ability to regain its shape
(memory) when pressure is removed. This material will not wear
out. Thousands of nylon filaments per foot are locked into a steel channel which is in turn held in an
aluminum extrusion designed to fit specific size brushes and
applications.
